The Turkish income tax law "Gelir Vergisi Kanunu - GVK" is defeated by constant changes "amendments" and is more extensive than every other single tax law. The object of the law is the taxation of natural persons who have her "their" residence in Turkey or stay more than six months in the year in Turkey, with her "their" domestic and possible foreign income. The following income of natural persons is defeated by the revenue taxation:

For income from unindependent activity the entrance tax clause amounts to 15 percent, the top expensive clause lies at 40 percent. For all the other types of revenue an additional tax of ten percent on the above sentences "sets" is raised, so that a maximum tax clause of 44 percent arises "surrenders". Calculation basis of the tax is the sum all incomes achieved "reached" and incomes with losses within the same Einkunftsarten can be settled "cleared". An einkunftsartenübergreifende charging "clearing" is possible merely with losses from commercial "industrial", independent and agricultural activity. A loss carried forward is permitted for a period from at most five years, while Verlustrückträge are not possible.
